Rafting is a great way to spend the day relaxing on the Delaware! Let the river’s current take you as you laugh with family and friends, enjoy the spectacular views, soak up the sun’s rays and beat the summer heat by taking a swim in the Delaware’s cool waters! But don’t get too relaxed! If taking a swim didn’t cool you off, the whitewater rapids will!
Our rafts hold up to 6 people. We also offer 2-3 person rafts for smaller groups (when available).
Pond Eddy to Port Jervis Landing
Your trip will start at Silver Canoe & Whitewater Rafting Pond Eddy Base and will be on the river for approximately 9 miles or 4-5 hours based on how much you paddle and the water level of the river. You will go through several sets of rapids, go through the scenic Hawks Nest section of the river, and you will pass under 2 bridges. When you pass under the second bridge and go around the next curve, please begin to make your way to the left side of the river as the take-out is approximately ½ mile on your left. You will see our sign and staff waiting for you on the beach.
Feel free to stop and picnic along the side of the river, be respectful of private property and make sure to pack out any trash, we will have containers at the end of the trip for you to deposit it in.
Mongaup to Port Jervis
You will be transported upriver for your 3 mile, 1.5 – 2.5 hour trip through one of the most scenic sections of the Upper Delaware River. Your trip begins at the Mongaup access, where you will splash your way through the Mongaup rapids, paddle through the scenic Hawks Nest section of the river, shoot through the Millrift rapids and pass under the #2 Bridge, the Eddy Farm rapids and cliffs are just around the corner. After passing the cliffs please make your way to the left side of the river. Our staff will be waiting for you at the take-out.
